CuraMed NanoCell Curcumin Micellar Food Supplement 100 Capsules

Turmeric rhizomes naturally contain only 5% biologically active compounds—curcuminoids—which are poorly absorbed and insoluble in water. The bioavailability of powdered turmeric extracts is poor due to low intestinal absorption, rapid breakdown in the liver, and low tissue concentrations. Adding piperine from black pepper does not increase the levels of active free curcuminoids in the blood. CuraMed is a liquid turmeric extract standardized to contain 98% active curcuminoids that are easily soluble in water and fat, which is of great importance for bioavailability.

CuraMed is produced using a new patented technology that encapsulates active curcuminoids into microscopically small vesicles called micelles, making curcumin much more bioavailable than standard curcumin extract, even with the addition of piperine or in the form of liposomes. One 720 mg CuraMed capsule is equivalent to approximately 12 g of curcumin extract (24 capsules of 500 mg each) or 134 g of turmeric rhizome powder. The curcuminoids found in turmeric are powerful antioxidants and possess a wide range of health-promoting properties. Among other things, curcumin acts on inflammation, muscle and joint pain, and the nervous, digestive, and immune systems. It has a positive effect on normal cell division and protects cells from damage.

Recommended use: Dosage: 1 capsule twice daily after meals.
