Arpege

Arpege is an elegant evening aldehyde-floral fragrance created by Jeanne Lanvin in 1927 and available on the market since 1993 in a slightly modified, yet still equally beautiful and captivating composition. Its name comes from the musical term “arpeggio”—and indeed, Arpege evokes a cascade of musical notes, only instead of sounds, we are enchanted by a succession of olfactory accords: first aldehydes, bergamot, neroli, honeysuckle, and lily of the valley, then iris, jasmine, rose, ylang-ylang, and camellia. Finally, sandalwood, amber, vetiver, musk, benzoin, vanilla, and patchouli.
